Arthur A. Collins Legacy Association
AACLA is committed to serving past and present employees while also inspiring future innovators through an online collection and immersive experiences that preserve and promote the advancements of Arthur A. Collins and the Collins Radio Company.
Volunteer Opportunities
The AACLA has a number of on-going and future projects needing volunteers to carry out. There are a wide variety one can choose from and most can easily accommodate the volunteer’s available time and schedule. A wide variety of skills and experience are needed across the variety of specific projects.

Museum Activities
Are you a history buff who has a passion for the legacy of Collins Radio? We need individuals to give guided tours, plan the future expansion of the museum and develop off-site displays (e.g. factory open houses, supplier conferences).
Historical Artifact Collection Management
Tasks involve inventory and sorting, storage and protection, restoration of key equipment for display, selling duplicates and non-Collins related items, film digitization and storage, and evaluating new acquisition opportunities.
Virtual Museum (Coming Soon)
We are currently working to build a Virtual Museum to enable people from around the globe to explore the displays at the AACLA museum. If you are interested in technology and would like to help us, let us know!
Video Documentaries
The life and legacy of Arthur A. Collins is rich and full of great stories, but we need people gifted in historical research, public relations, and video to help us preserve these stories for generations to come!
