The AACLA’s robust collection is available to researchers exploring the history and impact of communication and navigation technology.
The AACLA collection includes original equipment, documents and interviews that tell the story of the visionary engineering prowess of Arthur A. Collins and Collins Radio. Arthur and his company created and developed communication and navigation equipment and systems at critical times in American history including the Byrd exploration of Antarctica in the 1930s and the manned space program in the 1960s.
